Reverse description A large Irish-style Brian Boru harp occupies the central field, featuring a winged female figure as the forepillar and shamrock decorations along the harmonic curve. The harp strings are well defined, and the instrument rests on a decorative scroll base. The date 1820 is inscribed in large numerals along the lower portion of the field beneath the harp. The reverse is devoid of any surrounding legend, with the design filling most of the available field in a bold, if crudely executed, manner.
