| Obverse description | Facing crowned bust of King Henry VI, rendered in the stylised medieval manner typical of early fifteenth-century hammered coinage, set within a beaded inner circle. The king's crown is depicted with prominent fleurs, and the facial features are rendered frontally with a simple, hieratic quality characteristic of the Annulet issue dies. The surrounding legend, separated from the central effigy by the inner circle, reads HENRIC REX ANGL in Gothic uncial lettering. |

| Reverse description | A long cross pattée extending to the coin's edge and dividing the field into four quarters, each quarter containing a trefoil of pellets — the hallmark design of the Annulet issue. Annulets are placed in the first and fourth quarters (CIVI and LON quarters respectively), serving as the mint and privy marks that distinguish this early emission of Henry VI's first reign. The surrounding legend CIVITAS LONDON in Gothic uncial lettering identifies the London mint, running between the inner and outer circles. |
