Obverse description Facing crowned bust of King Henry VI, rendered in the stylised medieval manner typical of early fifteenth-century hammered coinage, set within a beaded inner circle. The king's crown is depicted with prominent fleurs, and the facial features are rendered frontally with a simple, hieratic quality characteristic of the Annulet issue dies. The surrounding legend, separated from the central effigy by the inner circle, reads HENRIC REX ANGL in Gothic uncial lettering.
