| Descrizione del rovescio | A prominent long cross pattée extends to the full diameter of the coin, dividing the reverse field into four quadrants and simultaneously quartering the circumferential legend. Each of the four angles formed by the cross contains a distinctive group of three pellets arranged in triangular formation, a diagnostic feature of the Type F coinage. The legend segments are separated by the arms of the cross, with the full inscription reading CIVI TAS LON DON, identifying the London mint. The design is executed in the characteristic bold hammered relief of Henrician silver coinage. |

Henry V's coinage was reorganized early in his reign under the same broad framework inherited from Henry IV, but Type F halfpennies from the London mint are among the scarcest subdivisions of the series — small denomination silver was notoriously prone to loss and melting, and surviving examples in any condition are infrequently encountered. The reign itself ended abruptly with Henry's death at Vincennes in August 1422, cutting short a monetary program that had otherwise run with unusual administrative consistency.
