| Beschrijving keerzijde | Half-flan reverse retaining approximately one half of the standard Short Cross penny design. The surviving field shows a quadrant of the central voided short cross, with one or two of the characteristic quatrefoil pellet groupings visible in the angles of the cross. The partial moneyer and mint legend, reading in uncial characters around the periphery, identifies the issuing moneyer and the Canterbury mint. The design conforms to the standard Short Cross class 7c reverse type, with a beaded inner circle and outer beaded border framing the cross and inscription. |
