Reverse description Britannia seated to the left in the manner of the contemporary regal halfpenny, holding a spear in her right hand and resting her left hand upon a shield bearing the Union device, with a globe at her feet. The seated figure occupies the central field, with the date 1779 appearing in the exergue below. The legend BONNY GIRL arcs around the upper periphery of the reverse, serving as the evasion token's identifying motto in place of the standard BRITANNIA inscription.
