Reverse description Central field bears the heraldic coat of arms of Jamaica, featuring a quartered shield adorned with five pineapples and a crocodile crest atop a royal helmet and mantling. Two indigenous figures serve as supporters on either side of the shield, each holding a banner with partial motto text. A scroll beneath the shield bears the motto INDUS UTERQUE SERVIET UNI. The denomination HALF PENNY appears along the lower arc, JAMAICA along the upper arc, and the date is divided on either side of the shield, all within a beaded inner border.
