Obverse description Central round hole surrounded by the royal crown above and denomination legends encircling the perforation. The legend reads 'GEORGIVS SEXTVS REX' in Latin along the upper periphery, with 'ONE HALFPENNY' in English and its Arabic equivalent 'نُصْف پَنّي' inscribed around the central hole. The coin border is defined by a continuous beaded rim. The design is spare and functional, with all lettering in raised relief against a flat field.
