Reverse description The denomination HALF PENNY is inscribed in a bold curved legend that arcs around the central circular hole, flanked by decorative scroll-work and foliate ornaments in the inner field. The territorial name SOUTHERN RHODESIA is distributed around the periphery, reading clockwise along the milled rim. The date appears at the base of the coin between two raised dots, with the year clearly struck in the lower segment of the design. A raised inner circle frames the central inscription, and the overall layout is clean and legible, consistent with British colonial minting practice.
