正面描述	A Tudor rose in high relief dominates the central field, its layered petals radiating symmetrically around the central round hole, which is framed by a beaded border. A royal crown surmounts the rose at the top. The circular legend GEORGE V KING EMPEROR runs around the periphery, separated from the inner design by a plain border and an outer dentillated rim. The design was modelled by sculptor Francis Derwent Wood.

附加信息	Southern Rhodesia gained the right to issue its own coinage in 1932, following the establishment of self-governing colony status a decade earlier. The halfpenny series was struck at the Royal Mint and its branches — a dependency that would continue until Rhodesia eventually developed its own monetary infrastructure. The 1934–1936 window falls squarely within the Depression years, when the colony's tobacco economy was under severe strain and small-denomination coinage saw relatively limited circulation demand.
