背面描述	Central round hole encircled by a raised ring, around which radiates a stylised cross formed by four ornate indigenous drum or hourglass-shaped motifs positioned at the cardinal points, each flanked by a pair of elongated club-like objects with bulbous ends, rendered in a decorative Art Deco style. The engraver's initials 'K G' appear below the central hole. The circumferential legend 'TERRITORY OF NEW GUINEA' arcs around the upper field, while 'HALF · 1929 · PENNY ·' is distributed around the lower field, all contained within a beaded border.
