Obverse description Crowned and robed effigy of King George V facing left, rendered in moderate relief with fine detail to the imperial crown and ermine-trimmed mantle. The engraver's initials 'B.M.' appear at the truncation, attributing the portrait to Edgar Bertram MacKennal. A circular legend in Latin runs along the periphery, interrupted by the portrait, with beaded border surrounding the entire design.
