The legend runs continuously around the bust, interrupted at the base of the truncation. This is the second obverse of the second issue, distinguished by a plain left shoulder strap and a reduced quantity of hair visible to the right of the tie knot. The portrait exhibits the characteristic robust modelling associated with the engraving of John Croker. |
