Reverse description A dove in flight occupies the central field, depicted in left profile with wings outstretched, symbolising peace. Above and to the left of the dove, a cornucopia overflowing with fruit and foliage alludes to abundance. The circular legend PEACE AND PLENTY surrounds the design, separated by small stops, and the field is otherwise plain. The overall allegorical composition is typical of Conder token reverse designs of the 1790s.
