The shield is framed by elaborate foliate and scroll mantling extending to either side, with decorative acanthus-style ornaments at the top and base. The denomination 1/2 appears in the lower portion of the shield, engraved by Leslie Lindsay. The overall composition reflects the Isle of Man's annual flower series tradition for this denomination. |
