| Beschrijving keerzijde | A long cross pattée extending to the coin's edge divides the reverse into four quadrants, each containing a trefoil of pellets disposed in the angles of the cross, a layout characteristic of the Edwardian sterling coinage. The mint name is distributed in two-letter segments across the four quadrants in uncial Latin lettering, identifying the London mint. The hammered fabric imparts a slightly irregular flan, typical of hand-struck medieval English halfpennies of this period. |
