Obverse description Central field depicts a mounted figure on horseback facing left, rendered in relief against a plain field. The horse and rider are shown in a dynamic pose, with the date 1794 inscribed in the exergue below. The design is enclosed within a beaded border running the full circumference of the coin. Reverse description The reverse features a large ornate interlaced cursive monogram composed of the letters H, M, and C occupying the central field, rendered in an elaborate calligraphic style typical of late 18th-century merchant tokens. The circular legend CAMAC KYAN AND CAMAC reads around the upper periphery, with H M Co flanking the monogram and HALFPENNY inscribed along the lower border. The design is enclosed within a beaded rim. The overall composition identifies the issuing firm of hardware merchants based in Dublin.
