| Obverse description | Laureate and mailed bust of a male figure facing left, wearing classical armor with visible plate and chain mail at the shoulder, hair tied with a ribbon at the nape. The effigy is rendered in relatively high relief in the colonial American style, occupying most of the flan. The peripheral legend reads *AUCTORI* *CONNECT*, separated by small rosette or star ornaments, with the word AUCTORI to the left and CONNECT to the right of the bust. |
