| Obverse description | Bare or lightly draped bust of a male figure facing right, rendered in a style imitating contemporary British regal coinage. The circular legend reads BRUTUS SEXTUS, positioned around the periphery of the obverse field. The portrait is deliberately crude in execution, consistent with the evasion token tradition of mimicking official halfpenny designs while altering inscriptions to avoid counterfeiting laws.
