| Beschrijving voorzijde | A stylised monogram letter 't', interpreted as an abbreviation for Tunsberg (modern Tønsberg), centrally placed within a plain inner ring. The motif features a horizontal bar surmounting a curved lower element, rendered in a schematic, calligraphic style characteristic of Norwegian medieval bracteate coinage. The inner ring is solid and continuous, while the outer border consists of a prominent beaded (pearl) circle. The flat field between the two rings is undecorated, emphasising the stark, abstract quality of the central device. |
