| Reverse description | Reverse of this small hammered copper piece displays a multi-line Arabic inscription in Naskh script occupying the entire field, typical of Madurai Sultanate fractional coinage. The legend, spread across two or three lines, likely contains mint and regnal information pertinent to Fakhr al-Din Mubarak Shah's reign. The flan is irregular and slightly concave, with the inscription showing moderate relief and some areas of weakness due to uneven striking pressure. No border, pellets, or decorative devices frame the inscription. |
