Beschrijving keerzijde Crude hammered field bearing schematic linear devices arranged diagonally across the flan, including broad angular strokes suggestive of stylised script or symbolic forms. Three prominent pellets are arranged in a loose triangular grouping in the lower portion of the field. Additional curved and linear elements fill the remaining space. No inscription or legend is present, consistent with the anonymous, primitive coinage tradition of the Sailana princely state under Dule Singh.

Aanvullende informatie

Sailana was among the smallest of the Rajput princely states — a few hundred square miles in Malwa, granted to a cadet branch of the Ratlam ruling family in 1730. Dule Singh ruled from 1862 to 1895, and coinage issued under his name spans a remarkably long window, suggesting these were struck across multiple decades rather than in a single production run. The state never operated a sophisticated mint, and the irregular fabric of surviving pieces reflects that.
