| Obverse description | Irregular copper flan struck by the hammered technique, displaying bold Arabic script in the Naskh style across the field. The principal legend, rendered in raised relief, occupies the central area and reads the imperial titles of Aurangzeb Alamgir. A diagonal stroke bisects the field, a characteristic compositional device found on Mughal copper coinage of this reign. The flan edges are uneven, consistent with hand-struck production, and the surfaces show the typical granular texture of cast copper planchets. |
