| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse presents a crudely executed design in low hammered relief, featuring what appears to be a stylized floral or geometric motif in the central field, possibly a conventionalized fish or vegetal symbol associated with the Madurai Sultanate coinage tradition. Two or three rounded boss-like elements are discernible in the lower portion of the design, surrounded by irregular linear elements. The flan is uneven and the strike is weak in areas, consistent with small fractional copper issues produced under Shams Al-Din Adil Shah. The field shows natural patination with traces of green cuprite corrosion. |
