Reverse description Three-line Devanagari inscription arranged horizontally across the coin field, divided by raised linear borders into registers. The legend reads 'Sri Pratapa Harihara', the royal epithet of the reigning sovereign Harihara II, rendered in bold, angular early Devanagari characters. The script is deeply struck and fills the entire reverse field, with individual aksharas clearly separated. This type of epigraphic reverse, bearing the king's title without figural imagery, is characteristic of the half pagoda denomination issued under the Sangama dynasty rulers of the Vijayanagara Empire.
