The monogram is rendered in high relief with flourishing calligraphic strokes, with G at lower left, R at lower right, and A at the apex. The design is characteristic of early 17th-century Swedish royal cyphers used on copper klippe coinage. The irregular square flan bears a beaded border along its edges. No legend is present; the royal cypher alone identifies the issuing monarch. |
