Obverse description Central field displays the royal cypher of Gustav II Adolf composed of an elaborate interlaced monogram with the letters G, A, and R arranged around a central fleur-de-lis or candelabrum-style ornamental device. The monogram is rendered in high relief with flourishing calligraphic strokes, with G at lower left, R at lower right, and A at the apex. The design is characteristic of early 17th-century Swedish royal cyphers used on copper klippe coinage. The irregular square flan bears a beaded border along its edges. No legend is present; the royal cypher alone identifies the issuing monarch.

Reverse description Central field features two crossed arrows or javelins in saltire, surmounted by a royal crown above the intersection point. The denomination and date are distributed in the four quadrants created by the crossed devices: '1' at upper left, 'Z' (interpreted as '2' for 1/2) at lower left, 'OR' at upper right, and '25' (for the year 1625) at lower right. The overall composition is bold and well-centred on the square klippe flan. A beaded border frames the design along the edges of the irregular planchet.
