| Obverse description | Central field bears the crowned coat of arms of the House of Vasa, representing the Kingdom of Sweden, set within a circular Latin legend. An asterisk punctuates the legend on either side of the shield, serving as word dividers. The crown surmounting the arms is rendered in a bold, stylized form characteristic of early seventeenth-century Swedish coinage. The overall design is struck in the hammered tradition, with the legend running continuously around the periphery of the flan. |

| Reverse description | Central device depicts a royal crown positioned above two crossed arrows, their tips pointing outward toward the lower left and lower right of the field, forming a saltire-like composition. This motif alludes to the Swedish crown's authority over its copper mining and munitions resources. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central device, incorporating the mint name, denomination, and date in Roman numerals. The denomination '1/2 ÖR' appears within the legend. The overall style is consistent with the hammered copper coinage produced at the Säter (Dalarna) mint during the reign of Gustav II Adolf. |
