| Reverse description | Central field bearing a front-facing royal crown in raised relief, depicted with three visible fleurons and a jewelled band, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The crown is rendered in the stylised manner characteristic of late medieval Scandinavian hammered coinage. The surrounding circular legend in uncial Latin reads HOnETA * STOC°hOL, an abbreviated form of Moneta Stockholmensis, identifying the Stockholm mint. Star-shaped and pellet stops punctuate the legend at intervals, and the irregular flan edges reflect the hand-struck technique of the period. |
