Reverse description An ornate voided cross with lis terminals occupies the full field, with a crowned lion passant guardant in each of the four angles. The letter R appears at the centre of the cross. The entire design is contained within a tressure of eight arcs adorned with fleurs-de-lis, with additional fleurs in the spandrels between the arcs and the surrounding beaded border. The initial mark, a cross pattée, precedes the Latin legend, which runs continuously around the outer border.
