Reverse description The central field bears the Hebrew biblical inscription 'ואהבת לרעך כמוך' (Leviticus 19:18, 'Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself') in bold, raised Hebrew lettering arranged over three lines. Flanking the Hebrew text are two stylised doves in flight. The same verse rendered in English, 'Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself', curves along the upper border in italic lettering. The Arabic translation of the commandment, 'تحب قريبك كنفسك', appears along the lower border. The entire design is framed by an ornamental beaded inner border and a finely decorated outer rim.
