Reverse description The reverse depicts a traditional Russian Hanukkah lamp (chanukiah) rendered in relief at the upper center of the field, flanked on either side by two rampant lions facing inward toward the lamp in a heraldic composition. The lamp features an ornate design with a decorative finial and a fringed base or shelf element rendered in fine detail. In the lower field, a three-line Hebrew inscription reads 'חנוכיה מרוסיה המאה הי"ז' identifying the depicted object as a Russian Hanukkah lamp from the seventeenth century.
