| 裏面の説明 | Central field dominated by a detailed high-relief depiction of a traditional Dutch Hanukkah lamp (chanukiah), richly ornamented with floral and foliate motifs, spherical finials, and decorative scrollwork along its base, rendered in a baroque style reflecting Dutch Jewish artistic heritage. The lamp is set within a pentagonal incuse panel against a plain field. Below the lamp, a two-line Hebrew inscription identifies the lamp and its origin. The dodecagonal flan is plain beyond the central design. |

Israel's annual Hanukkah coin series, running since 1958, dedicates each year's issue to a Hanukkiah from a different Jewish diaspora tradition. The Dutch lamp referenced here reflects the distinctive oil lamp forms used in 17th and 18th century Amsterdam, where Sephardic Jews expelled from the Iberian Peninsula established one of the most prosperous and culturally productive Jewish communities in Europe. That community's material culture — including its ceremonial objects — became a touchstone for later scholarship on diaspora Jewish identity.
KM#415 is a low-denomination circulation-adjacent issue with modest collector premiums.
