| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse field is entirely occupied by a multi-line Persian-Nastaliq calligraphic legend arranged in three curved bands, a characteristic style of late Mughal coinage issued in the name of Emperor Shah Alam II. The inscription records the imperial titulature, regnal year, and the name of the issuing authority. Decorative dot rosettes are interspersed between lines to serve as ornamental separators. The date in the Hijri calendar and the Bengali San year appear in the lower segment of the field. A fine oblique milled border encircles the entire design. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse displays a multi-line Persian-Nastaliq calligraphic legend arranged in three curved horizontal bands across the field, consistent with Mughal-style coinage struck by the Bengal Presidency. The inscription records the mint name Murshidabad (مرشد آباد) in the lower register, along with the denomination and regnal citation. Star-shaped and diamond-shaped ornamental devices are placed symmetrically within the field as decorative punctuation. The bold, deeply struck calligraphy fills the flan with confidence, reflecting the high-relief minting technique employed at the Murshidabad mint. The oblique milled border frames the design on all sides. |
