正面描述	The field bears a two-line inscription in Devanagari script rendered in raised relief against a plain hammered gold ground. The upper line carries the name of the ruling Maharaja, Vikramasinh Pawar, in bold characters. The lower line presents a single abbreviated word. The coin is bordered by a prominent ring of raised beads encircling the entire periphery, characteristic of the hand-struck coinage of the Dewas Senior Branch princely state.

附加信息	Dewas was a peculiarly divided state — split between two branches of the Pawar dynasty, Senior and Junior, each ruling their own half of the territory from adjacent palaces in the same town. Vikramsingh ruled the Junior Branch. The arrangement dated to a 1728 partition that British administrators found baffling and largely left alone. Gold coinage from either branch in this period is scarce; by 1938, most princely states had ceased issuing independent currency entirely, making this a late and somewhat defiant exercise of minting privilege.
