| Obverse description | Central field features an elaborate lobed cartouche of interlaced floral and foliate design executed in the hammered style characteristic of Zand-period coinage. Within the cartouche, the mint name and regnal invocation are inscribed in Nasta'liq Arabic script. The mint name Yazd (دارالایمان یزد) appears prominently, accompanied by the AH date 1190 at the base of the cartouche. The overall composition is densely ornamental, with scrolling arabesques filling the surrounding field. |
