Obverse description Central field features a stylised trident (trishula) device enclosed within a raised inner circle, surrounded by Devanagari and Ranjana script legends arranged in four quadrants across the field. Decorative dot punctuation separates the inscription groups. The entire design is contained within a beaded border running along the coin's periphery. The overall layout follows the traditional Nepalese hammered coinage style, with bold, deeply struck characters in high relief.

Reverse description The reverse displays multi-line Devanagari inscriptions arranged in horizontal registers within a central cartouche or boat-shaped panel, flanked by groups of raised dots on either side. A vertical trishula device bisects the central field. The regnal date in Nepali numerals appears along the lower margin. The field is enclosed by a secondary border of dots and an outer beaded rim, consistent with the hammered gold coinage tradition of the Shah dynasty.
