| Obverse description | Central field features a stylized floral or solar motif surrounded by Devanagari inscriptions arranged in horizontal registers across the coin's face. The legend reads 'Sri Sri Sri / Rajendra / Vikrama', invoking the royal titulature of King Rajendra Bikram Shah. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border characteristic of Nepalese hammered coinage of the early nineteenth century. The irregular flan and uneven strike are typical of the hand-hammered production technique employed at the Kathmandu mint during this period. |
