Reverse description The reverse displays a vertical sword (khanda) at the centre of the field, oriented upright, flanked by dot ornaments on either side. The Devanagari legend reading 'Krama Shah Deva' is arranged in two lines above the sword hilt, while the Nepalese Saka era date '1916' (Vikram Samvat, corresponding to 1894 CE) appears in Devanagari numerals below. The entire design is contained within a plain inner circle and an outer beaded border, consistent with the stylistic conventions of Nepalese coinage under King Prithvi Bir Bikram Shah.
