| Obverse description | Central field bears two large Chinese characters 五分 (Wu Fen, meaning '5 Fen') arranged vertically within a circular beaded or rope-pattern border. A six-pointed star ornament appears to the left and right of the characters, flanking them symmetrically in the field. The overall design is rendered in a bold, slightly irregular hand-struck style typical of Kashgar mint coinage of the late Qing period. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays an intricate arabesque pattern filling the entire field, composed of intertwining foliate scrollwork and tendrils arranged in a circular composition. A stylized flower or rosette motif is positioned at the centre-base of the design. The decorative border echoes the interlaced knotwork seen on the obverse, consistent with the Islamic-influenced artistic tradition of Xinjiang coinage. The overall design reflects the cultural synthesis characteristic of late 19th-century Kashgar mint issues. |
