Four olive or laurel sprays radiate symmetrically around the central legend, their branches crossing to form a decorative wreath-like arrangement within the beaded inner border. The Munich Mint mark D appears centrally below the denomination, just above the lower border. The plain field and dotted border frame the composition with characteristic Imperial German restraint. |
