| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by a large decorative cartouche in a Jugendstil-influenced style, rendered in blue and black on a plain paper ground. At the top of the cartouche, the city arms of Brandenburg — a fortified gate flanked by towers — appears surmounted by a crown, with the date 1715 inscribed to either side. The denomination legend in bold Gothic blackletter script is set against a blue ribbon banner, below which the issuer inscription appears on a scallop-edged white scroll, flanked by oak leaf sprays. |

| Reverse description | The reverse carries at left a bold vignette of a full-length armoured knight standing on a plinth, executed in a flat woodcut style in blue and black with vertical blue stripe accents. To the right, the main text block is set in Gothic blackletter script and states the redemption conditions, giving the expiry date of 31 December 1920 and naming the Brandenburger Bankverein e.Gm.b.H. as the redeeming institution. The issue date, place, and the printed authorisation line "der Magistrat" appear below, with a manuscript facsimile signature, and a red typeset serial number is printed at the top right. |
