Adam Frederick of Seinsheim held the unusual distinction of governing two neighboring prince-bishoprics simultaneously — Bamberg and Würzburg — from 1757 until his death in 1779. This small copper issue falls squarely in the midst of the Seven Years' War, when Franconian territories were repeatedly crossed by Prussian and Imperial forces, and when the financial strain of the conflict pushed ecclesiastical mints toward emergency fractional coinage to keep local commerce moving.
KM#129 was struck across two calendar years, suggesting either a prolonged die run or a reissue prompted by continued shortage — a detail the surviving population makes difficult to resolve cleanly.
