附加信息	Struck to mark the birthday of Christian VII, this commemorative issue was produced while the king was already exhibiting the severe mental instability that would define — and largely sideline — his reign. By 1771, real power in Denmark had passed almost entirely to Johann Friedrich Struensee, the royal physician who had become the queen's lover and effectively ran the government by royal decree. The birthday coin was thus a formal gesture of monarchy at a court where the monarch himself was barely functional. Struensee was arrested and executed the following year.
