| Beschrijving voorzijde | Full-length effigy of King Christian IV standing facing right, crowned and robed, holding a scepter in his raised right hand while his left hand rests upon the pommel of his sword. The royal figure is contained within a beaded or rope inner circle, with the Latin legend interrupted at the base by the king's feet extending beyond the border. On specimens bearing the crossed-swords mintmark, the king's figure is notably larger in proportion to the field. |
