The central vignette, signed 'Zucker' in the lower right corner, renders a colourful winter scene in which a Father Christmas figure in a red coat, carrying a large sack and walking stick, stands beside a small child in a blue dress, with snow-laden trees and Alpine mountains visible in the background. The upper register displays a colourful geometric diamond-pattern underprint with a central oval vignette of a figure in traditional Austrian costume. The wide central register carries the redemption text in Gothic script, followed by the manuscript signatures of the Bürgermeister and two Gemeinderäte with their printed role titles. The lower register repeats the geometric diamond-pattern underprint and contains two rectangular vignettes depicting lighted candles set among evergreen sprigs, rendered in red and green tones. |
