| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field bears the imperial double-headed eagle of the Habsburg dynasty, displayed with spread wings and detailed feathering, rendered in the crude hammered style typical of small Bohemian fractions of the period. Above the eagle's heads appears the initial 'L' for Leopold I, flanked by small decorative elements. The mint date is inscribed to the left of the eagle within the field. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular flan and weak strike common to half-kreuzer denominations produced at the Kuttenberg (Kutná Hora) mint in the mid-seventeenth century. |
