Obverse description The Baden coat of arms displayed on a shield divided diagonally, featuring a rampant lion in the lower right canton and a field of bezants arranged along the diagonal band in the upper left canton, with horizontal and diagonal line engraving throughout. The shield is surmounted by a large royal crown rendered in relief. No legend appears in the field; the design occupies the full face of the coin within a plain inner border.
