Obverse description The obverse features a central legend in large Chinese characters reading 半毫鎳幣 (Half Jiao Nickel Coin), arranged prominently within the field. The outer legend along the upper arc reads 中華民國十二年 (Year 12 of the Republic of China), while the lower arc bears the inscription 廣西省造 (Made in Kwangsi Province). The entire central design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the characters rendered in a bold, clear style typical of Republican-era Chinese provincial coinage. Small decorative rosettes or floral ornaments appear at intervals between the inscriptions.
