| Additional information |
John Ulrich of Raitenau held the abbacy of Murbach and Lüders jointly from 1560 until his death in 1574, one of the last abbots to exercise meaningful temporal authority over these Alsatian imperial abbeys before their gradual absorption into Habsburg administrative structures eroded what remained of their independent coining rights. This half guldenthaler was struck just a year before his death, making the series numerically thin by any measure.
The Divo reference spanning five catalog numbers for this type reflects genuine die variation across the known survivors rather than collector inflation of the series.
